This experiment introduces students to the principles and applications of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). This simulation experiment does not contain human DNA and does not require a thermal cycler.

• Learn the biology behind polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and gel electrophoresis
• Explore the relationship between the number of PCR cycles and the quantity of amplified DNA
• Perform agarose gel electrophoresis to separate different sized DNA molecules
• Load, run, stain, and analyze DNA samples to observe concentration differences

Storage:
