How do I filter and narrow my search for products?

If you do not know the exact product you're looking for, Edvotek.com can be searched in several ways. The search bar in the upper-right corner and the left-hand filter bar are both excellent ways to narrow your search results. Results can be filtered by cost, required class periods, lab group size, experiment type, required equipment, grade level, and et up time.

How can I find product documentation, manuals, & protocols?

Kit protocols and equipment manuals are found on most product pages directly beneath the product description. Kit experiment safety data sheets are located inside the "Resources" tab on individual product pages. Kit SDS and individual component SDS can also be found HERE.

How can I find best-selling products?

Popular items are labeled with the "Best Seller" tag and can also be found by using the phrase "Best Seller" in the Search bar.

How can I find new products?

New products carry the "New" tag and can also be found by navigating to and clicking on "New Products" in the Main Menu.


How do I create an online customer account?

1. Navigate to www.edvotek.com
2. Click "Login" in the header
3. Enter the requested information into the "New Customer" form and click "Create Account"
4. By clicking on "My Settings," you can now update your profile, save default billing & shipping addresses, and link your preferred credit card etc.

How do I reset my username, password, or email address?

1. To update your online customer account username or email address, sign into your account and then navigate to My Account-->Settings-->Profile Information and update accordingly.
2. To amend your password, sign into your account and then navigate to My Account-->Settings-->Update Your Password.


How do I request a quote?

To request a web quote:
1. Create an online customer account or sign into your existing online customer account.
2. Click on "Request a Quote" in the top-most menu.
3. Add the SKU and Quantity of each item needed.
4. Update shipping address and add any additional comments.
4. Submit quote request.
5. Your quote IS NOT FINAL until an Edvotek Customer Service Representative has returned the quote to you with any applicable shipping charges and tax.
6. All current and expired web quotes can be found under "Purchases" in "My Account."

Will shipping or tax be included in my quote?

Yes, FedEx ground shipping charges will be factored into your online quotation. For a limited number of kit experiments, a $50 "wet ice" fee and expedited shipping charges are added to a web quote. This fee applies to EDVO-Kits #205, 311, 338, 380, & 381.

What products are available for quotes?

All Edvotek catalog items can be appropriately quoted via Edvotek.com, email, or phone. For custom quantities, packaging, or items, please call 1.800.338.6835 or email info@edvotek.com.

How long is my quote valid for?

Quotes are valid for three months from the day of creation. In special circumstances, the expiration can be extended. Please call Edvotek at 1.800.338.6835 or email info@edvotek.com if you believe an extension is warranted.

How Do I Redeem My Promo Code?

Promotional codes are periodically introduced for conference attendees, social media marketing events, or email newsletters.

• If placing an order through Edvotek.com, enter the promo code on the "Shipping Address" page during the Checkout process. If your promo code is valid, it will automatically be applied to your order.
• If placing an order via orders@edvotek.com or fax at 1.800.202.370.1501, please note the promo code on the purchase order.
• When calling 1.800.338.6835, please verbally give your promo code to the customer reprentative to have it applied to your order.


Is there a minimum order required?

No, you can order as little or as much as you would like!

How can I pay for my order?

School Purchase Orders and VISA/Master Card/American Express credit cards are all accepted methods of payment. For international orders, a wire transfer is preferred.

How do I place an order for international shipment?

Please request a quote first via edvotek.com or by emailing info@edvotek.com and include your shipping address. This allows us to adjust shipping charges accordingly.

How do I future ship my order?

If placing an order via edvotek.com, use the "Notes" text field on the "Shipping Address" page of the "Checkout" process. Example: "Ship after August 1st" or "Hold all perishables until requested."

What is Edvotek's return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Items returned must be unused, in original packaging, stored appropriately according to individual storage requirements, and include all parts and accessories. An item cannot be returned if it is in unsalable condition, unless it was damaged during initial shipment. Equipment can be returned if it is defective directly “out-of-the-box.” It is recommended that all items received be inspected immediately upon receipt for damage or irregularities.
