First, your class makes their model of atmospheric layers. Then, they use their model to look at the different layers, how temperature changes with altitude and what can be found in each part.
The model covers the troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere and thermosphere. It also shows where the aurora happens, where meteors burn up, and where weather balloons and airplanes fly! Mount Everest is shown to give a sense of scale.
