ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

Teach earthquakes with our dynamic paper model!

Your class will enjoy learning what an earthquake is and how it happens. They will also see what occurs when moving tectonic plates stick together building up pressure. This stress is released as an earthquake!

• Students build their model of tectonic plates and a city using the colorful parts of the template
• Utilize the model to visualize what happens when two tectonic plates slide past each other or when one plate slips below another one
• Takes about 20 minutes to build the model!

The model covers: tectonic plates, focus, epicenter, San Andreas fault, 1906 San Francisco earthquake, and 2011 Fukushima earthquake in Japan.

Origami Organelles are downloadable paper models that you print and make as many times as you like! When you purchase a model, you are licensed for unlimited use on a single site or campus.
