LAB 5: Photosynthesis AP05

In this experiment, students will learn how to measure the rate of photosynthesis indirectly by studying the floating leaf disk assay, and test different variables that might affect the photosynthesis process.

|
Kit Includes: instructions, Sodium Biocarbonate (baking soda), liquid soap, plastic syringe (20 cc), transfer pipets, plastic cups, metric rulers
All You Need: leaves (i.e. spinach, ivy, pokeweed), timer, light source (60 watt light bulb recommended), hand-held hole punch, and beakers
