336 - Determining Quick Plant Genetics Using PCR
Description
In this experiment, students learn about genotype/phenotype relationships by performing PCR using DNA extracted from EDVOTEK Quick Plants. The
glabra
mutant lacks trichomes on its leaves, as compared to wild type plants. By amplifying a region that differs between
glabra
and wild type plants, students also observe variation at the DNA level.
Shipped ambient. Some components require -20°C storage.
