In this experiment, a plasmid DNA is cleaved with different combinations of restriction enzymes. By determining the fragment size and using agarose gel electrophoresis, the relative positions of the restriction sites can be mapped. Requires wet ice shipment for next day delivery (by 3:00 pm in most areas).

Kit includes: instructions, Hind III & Bgl I restriction enzymes, plasmid DNA, buffers, enzyme grade water, standard DNA fragments, gel loading solution, agarose, electrophoresis buffer, FlashBlue Stain. You need: electrophoresis apparatus and power supply, automatic micropipet with tips, balance, microwave or hot plate, waterbath, floating racks, misc. lab glassware, ice.
